Booking Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully and keep them with you
on holiday, as they are the basis of the contract between your party and
us. This contract is made on the terms of these Booking Conditions, which
are governed by English law. By booking a holiday with us, you (the Party
Leader) are agreeing to the Booking Conditions on behalf of all the members
of your party.
- Your holiday booking. When making a booking you
must be aged over 18 years and have the authority to accept and do accept
on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. All correspondence
and documents are sent to the Party Leader who is responsible for all
payments in respect of the booking. Our invoice is our acceptance of
the booking (as detailed therein), and the contract is made on its issue.
We ask you to check the details and any anomaly should be reported to
us immediately otherwise the details shown on the invoice will be presumed
to be correct.
- Price. This is shown on the website for the period
you require.
- Data Protection. By giving us your name and personal details you
consent for these to be used as necessary in processing your booking
and in maintaining a database for future communications to you.
- Payment. When you wish to confirm a booking you
must pay a deposit of 25% on receipt of invoice this will be non-refundable.
Your final payment will be detailed on your invoice and must be paid
10 weeks before your departure, or your booking will be deemed cancelled.
This invoice will include the breakage deposit of £150 as set
out below.
- Travel reductions. Once we have received your deposit
we will send to you details of the Owner’s Club discount reference
to allow you to try to obtain discounted travel with up to 33% off Brittany
Ferries prices. We accept no responsibility should crossings under this
scheme be unavailable for the period you wish to travel as we understand
there are a set number of places available under this scheme which are
provided on a first come first serve basis.
- To cancel your booking. You must immediately advise
us in WRITING. If you cancel before the final payment is due only the
deposit is retained.
- Domestic animals. No pets are allowed to be taken
to the property. Entry to the property will be refused if you bring
a pet with you.
- No Smoking. Please note that this is a no smoking
property.
- Arrival and Departure. Arrival time at your property
is any time after 14.30. Lets are from Saturday to Saturday. We ask
that you vacate the property by 10.30am on the day of your departure
to allow us to make the accommodation ready for the next booking. We
would ask that you leave the property and its contents in the condition
in which you found it.
- Keys. The key to the property will be left with
one of the neighbours and details will be provided to you prior to departure.
- Your responsibility. You undertake to report to
us any deficiency in the accommodation or its contents on arrival, to
exercise due and reasonable care in respect of your holiday accommodation
and its contents, to leave it in a clean and complete condition, to
respect local and on site regulations and bye-laws, to limit party numbers
to those on your booking, to remit payments as invoiced on or before
due dates, to indemnify us against all loss or damage arising directly
or indirectly from any act, default or omission of your party, and not
to exceed the published occupation capacity of the accommodation. Any
serious abuse of the property or its contents may render you liable
to eviction without compensation. Should you encounter any problems
with the property during your stay please call us on 0044 1489 881170
so that we can try to resolve the problem as soon as possible. We will
endeavour to do everything reasonable to correct the problem. We remind
you of your own duty of care for your own and other members of your
party’s safety whilst you are away. In particular children must
be supervised at all times.
- Breakage deposit. There is a breakage deposit of
£150 payable at the time of payment of the balance of the invoice
as set out above. Any breakage or damage including the cost of excessive
cleaning will deducted in full from this deposit. You will be asked
to pay for extra cleaning if the property is left in an unreasonable
condition. Please treat the property as your own and tidy up before
you leave. Provided that the property and the contents are left in the
condition that you found them the Breakage deposit will be refunded
within 21 days of you leaving the property.
- Linen/Towels. We provide quilts but do not provide
any linen or towels with the property so please do not forget to bring
bath towels, tea towels, bed linen and toilet rolls with you.
- Complaints. Should you have any complaints with
the property these must be notified to us in WRITING within 14 days
after your normal return date to the UK or elsewhere from the property.
Failure to notify us within this time may reduce your rights under this
contract.
- Force majeure. We cannot accept responsibility nor
pay any compensation for problems arising due to circumstances beyond
our control, including travel delays due to technical problems or industrial
action, problems caused by natural disasters or disorder, or other problems
outside our control.
We will send you an Information sheet upon receiving your completed Booking
form that will contain details of where the keys to the property can be
collected.
